Strangers helping strangers across the UK
Short on a bill this month? Someone might swipe right.
SwipeKind connects people who are a bit short before payday with people happy to cover a bill. The money goes straight to the company that sent it, never to a person.
Simple as that
How it works
If you need help
1. Snap your bill
Take a photo and we pick out the bill type and amount for you.
2. Check the details
Confirm what you're short, when it's due and why.
3. Make it yours
Add a photo and a short note if you like. Both are optional.
4. We check it
We check your bill and ID, then it goes live for helpers to see.
5. It's paid
The money goes straight to your supplier. Send a thank-you if you like.
If you want to help
1. Swipe the feed
Swipe left to pass, right to cover someone's bill.
2. View the bill
See the real bill, checked by us, with private details hidden.
3. Confirm
See the bill and our fee before you pay. No surprises.
4. It's paid
Get a "Paid" confirmation and a thank-you note from the person you helped.
£50 bill + £5 SwipeKind fee = £55
Always shown up front. It keeps SwipeKind running.

Built to give back
No one gets left out
SwipeKind is registering as a Community Interest Company (CIC). That's a UK company set up by law to benefit the community, with its profits locked in to that purpose.
Every month, our profit goes into the SwipeKind Kindness Fund. The fund pays the bills nobody swiped right on, starting with the ones that have waited longest.
We don't hand it to someone else to spend. It goes straight back to the people who asked us for help.

Good questions
Questions, answered
No. Asking for help is always free. The only fee is paid by the helper, and it's shown to them up front.
No. It goes straight to the company that sent the bill. It never touches your bank account.
Helpers see your first name, town, bill type, amount, due date and the reason you picked. Your full name, address and account number are always hidden.

It keeps fake bills out and gives helpers the confidence to say yes. Your ID is never shown to anyone.
No, and we'll always be honest about that. Keep talking to your supplier while your bill is live. If it's still waiting two days before it's due, we'll send you practical help and free advice links.
It stays live for 14 more days, because an overdue bill is still worth paying. You can take it down any time.
No. On most crowdfunding and donation sites, the money goes to the person asking, and they decide how to spend it. On SwipeKind, your money never goes to a person. It pays their bill, straight to the energy company, water company or council that sent it.
That means no one can talk you into sending them cash. There are no long sob stories to pull on your heartstrings, just the bill, the amount and a short reason. Every bill is checked before it goes live, and the money can only ever land on that bill.
Straight to the company that sent the bill. Never to a person.
SwipeKind adds 10% to every bill, and it's always shown on the card before you pay. It covers what it takes to run SwipeKind safely:
- Card processing fees on every payment
- A regulated payment partner to hold and send money securely
- ID checks for everyone asking for help
- Checking every bill before it goes live
- Fraud protection
- Servers, hosting and the systems that keep the app running
- Support for helpers and the people they help
Everyone asking for help has their ID checked, every bill is checked before it goes live, and the name on the bill has to match the ID.

Yes. Payments go through a regulated payment partner, with Apple Pay and Google Pay supported.
Why a waitlist?
We're building SwipeKind properly, not quickly. Every bill needs checking, every payment goes through a regulated payment partner, and we want plenty of helpers ready so bills actually get covered. The waitlist lets us open in the right order: helpers first, then bills, starting in the UK.
