Privacy Policy

This policy covers the SwipeKind waitlist. It explains what we collect when you join, why, and how to get your details removed. The SwipeKind app will have its own, fuller privacy policy when it launches.

Who we are

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we collect:

• Your email address
• Which side you're on: "I need help" or "I want to help"
• Your postcode area (the first part of your postcode only)
• The town and region we work out from your postcode area
• Which bills you need help with, if you tell us
• Your referral source or creator code, if you arrived through a link that included one (for example a TikTok or partner link)

We also record the date you joined. We use Vercel Analytics to count page visits and sign-ups. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.

If you contact us as a partner

If you contact us through the partner form, we store your name, organisation, work email and message so we can reply. We don't use it for anything else and never sell or share it.

If you're not in the UK

If you join the "Not in the UK?" list, we store your email and country only to tell you when we launch there.

Creators and referrals

If you apply to be a creator, we store your application details so we can review it and contact you about the programme.

If you join the waitlist using a creator's link or code, we note which creator referred you so we can credit them. We don't use cookies for this.

Why we collect it

To email you about the SwipeKind launch, including the day we go live. Your country and choice help us plan where to open first and what to tell you. We only email you because you ticked the box agreeing to it.

Where it's stored

Your details are stored securely in a database hosted by Supabase. Only the SwipeKind team can access them.

We never sell it

We never sell, rent or trade your details. We don't share them with anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until SwipeKind launches and we've told you about it, or until you ask us to remove them, whichever comes first.

How to be removed

Reply to any email we send you, or contact [CONTACT EMAIL], and we'll delete your details. You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
